So we got the 2 acre parcel in the subdivision with the craftsman homes! The subdivision is right outside of a lake, 5 minutes to a town (and hospital which is important for Paul’s diabetes and heart issues!) It also has cable, phone and electric at the street which will cut down on costs to drawing the utilities.
We went to the lot and met a neighbor who told us the history of the subdivision, how far the water table goes down (for well purposes) and handed us a copy of the HOA CCRS to read on the plane.
We then went to breakfast “in town” before heading to Grand Rapids to catch our plane. We were early so we bought “The Owner Build Book” for our kindle so we can start our research on the plane!
